Add/Edit Genotyping Protocol

Genotyping protocol consists of PCR primers and program. Each protocol is associated with one allele of a gene, while one allele can have unlimited number of genotyping protocols.

To add genotyping protocol, click the button on the toolbar of the main window:

In the protocol window, double click the allele node to add protocol.

The protocol name must be unique. The suggested name by the program consists of the short names of the gene and allele and may be not unique if there are multiple protocols under an allele. You can change the name by adding number behind the suggested name or any other way you like.

To edit a protocol, simply select the protocol node.

PI, technician and scientist can add and modify, other people can only view the protocol.
